SHENFIELD HIGH SCHOOL

This project was for 2,000 sqm Comar 6 eft curtain walling for a science block followed by an arts and crafts block. The work would be noisy and there would be numerous challenges to be worked around to get the job done on time. The project’s size required some work to be done during school hours and our dedicated on-site manager worked with the school to create a schedule that included weekend work to minimise disturbance to students. The top fascia of the building couldn’t be removed so we came up with the solution of covering it with spandrel panels to give the appearance that the curtain walling went right to the top. Our partnership with the client on this work has led to several other school projects.
