CUMBERLAND HOTEL

Working on a ground floor retail unit for Footlocker, this project combined Comar 6eft anodised curtain walling, with high-performance glazing from Carey Glass, and Comar 7P.i cd doors. The location at London’s Marble Arch and Oxford Street is high-profile but it’s also very busy, which presented a major challenge. We had to coordinate glass deliveries from Ireland without delays because the client was under pressure to remove hoardings once the glass was installed. With two dedicated site managers, traffic marshals planning deliveries and close relationships with Comar and Carey, we planned all deliveries to the minute. The result was a stunning, anodised, fully-secured entrance screen in a very visible site which met all client requirements and on time.
